NO FAIR PREMIUMS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THIS SHOW – (There will be an entry fee of $10.00 per pig at the fair when they are being weighed in. It will be 100% payback. Place paid will depend on numbers per class.)
This show is open to anyone ages 9 and up, including adults. This is not a Junior Show.
Absolutely no late entry forms will be accepted. Pigs' weight & health requirements will be the same as the Junior Show. They must have an intrastate health certificate. No out-of-state pigs allowed.
Junior exhibitors who showed in the Junior Show can also show in the Jackpot Show since there will be no premium given by the Fair Board. These pigs will not be allowed to leave after the show. The entry form below must have been submitted by deadline for any Junior show pigs wanting to show in the jackpot show.
This show is being sponsored by the Crawford County Meat Animal Auction Committee – Lonnie Achenbach & Jon Nagel are in charge of this event.
Jackpot show pigs must arrive between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 9th (if they come on Wed. with Junior show pigs, that is also acceptable)
They will be weighed-in between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 9th.
The jackpot show will begin after the Junior Show, which starts at 6:00 p.m. Jackpot only pigs can leave immediately after the show.
Junior exhibitors have priority of pens. Exhibitor is responsible for care of animals and cleaning of pens before leaving the fairgrounds.
Exhibitors will have to pay an entry fee for entering the fairgrounds ($5/person).
There will only be separate weight classes if there are more than 20 pigs.
